The season has arrived when many people take on new workplaces, colleagues, and work environments. Meeting a "good rival" with whom you can mutually improve is indeed a stroke of luck.
To win in competition with rivals, it's not just talent or luck that matters; how you use your time each day is crucial. The late Katsuya Nomura, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989, said, "The key lies in how you use the 24 hours of your day." Personally, I continue to make efforts with a view to ten years from now, starting with early morning runs, bat swings, squats, reading, copying newspaper editorials, learning English, and listening to overseas radio.
Additionally, Hiromitsu Ochiai, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011, also teaches us the importance of effort with his words, "If you want to beat the guy who swung the bat 100 times, there's no other way but to swing it 101 times."
Let's do our best
