I learned the importance of "continuing for the long term" primarily through observing my parents. From a young age, my parents & older brother consistently demonstrated a commitment to whatever they undertook.
They taught me that even small daily efforts are important.
In my case, whether it's school activities like club activities and committees, hobbies like running, learning, married life, or even contracts for mobile phones, providers, and insurance, I tend to continue once I start. (There is also a significant aspect of "it's a hassle to change," though, haha.)
When people start something new, they often push forward with initial passion and interest, but over time, that enthusiasm can wane. I value the advice found in business books, such as "Don't aim for 100 points. It's okay to aim for 60 points, just keep going,"
I intend to continue practicing the importance of persistently and enduringly engaging in activities.
